The Ministry of Home Affairs (MoHA) on June 25, 2026, issued a notification regarding restrictions on Multiple Logins on the CCRS Portal.
The following has been stated: -
•The Central CRS Portal has restricted simultaneous login using the same user credentials from multiple devices/browsers as a security measure to prevent unauthorised access and misuse.
•Registrars can create additional authorised user accounts, including DEO accounts, to facilitate access by multiple users as per operational requirements.
•The restriction on multiple logins will continue, and all States/UTs are advised to use the role-based user management facility and ensure that the instructions are communicated to all concerned registration functionaries for compliance.
